It could be quite depressing when you look out a window and just see a blank wall. Is there a way to improve the view outsdie the window?

Here is a easy four-step method to convert a prison-cell like room into a garden-living space:

1) Expand the window into a glass door by removing the wall below the window;

2) Install a timber or bamboo lattice against the wall. The lattice should be painted in bright color so it can better reflect the light into the room;

3) Plant undergrowth and shrubs, or just place a row of plant pots, against the lattice wall;

4) Allow ivy to claw up the lattice.
